Kathmandu. The Film Development Board has awarded 72 film workers with special category film workers’ identity cards. Communication and Information Technology Minister Prithvisubba Gurung and Communications Secretary Radhika Aryal presented the identity cards at a ceremony held at the Film Development Board on Wednesday.
Among those who got the identity card are Nepali language, caste regional filmmakers, directors, actors, producers. Dinesh DC, Chairman of the Board, said that they have been awarded identity cards for their continuous contribution to the Nepali film industry.
Actor Ramchandra Adhikari, who received special category film worker ID card in the program, was given a check for the amount received for drug treatment insurance.
