Kathmandu. Singer Brabim Sherma has brought a new song ‘O Pardeshi Saathi’. In this song by Brabim, who is known as a Limbu language and identitarian singer, there is a message that respect should be shown to the Nepalese youth who have gone abroad for work.
The song has lyrics by Mahen Nembang and music by Brabim. Arranged by Devesh Rai. The lyrical video of the song features a team of musicians along with singer Brabim. Produced by Numa Tumrok and Chandanuma Sherma, the video is directed by Kiran Chamling Rai.
By sending remittances, they have worked as the backbone of Nepal’s economy. It is an attempt to send a message that they need respect’, Brabim, who is currently in the UK, said to Online Khabar.
In the video, Yogesh Dahal has done the cinematography and Anil Rana has done the editing and VFX. The song has chorus singing by Vikram Rai, Shahil Limbu, Manisunder Limbu, Apsu Yogi and Sangeeta Ranpahenli.
He is currently in the UK for the Brabim program. Having performed at four UK venues so far, he will be resounding at Grey’s on 30th November. Similarly, they will give musical performances in Wales on December 7, Bassintoke on December 14, Oxford on December 28, and London on December 21.
