Kathmandu. Netflix and Shahrukh Khan’s company Red Chillies Entertainment are going to collaborate in the production of a web-series. Shahrukh’s son Aryan will direct the series. This will be his directorial debut.
Netflix announced the series on Monday. “Set against the backdrop of the film industry, this multi-genre project tells the story of a daring, innocent, entertaining journey through the adventures of a charming, ambitious outsider entering the glamorous but tough world of Bollywood,” a Netflix statement said.
“The series presents a self-aware comedy with blockbuster cameos and larger-than-life characters in Indian cinema,” the platform said about the series.
“We are excited to present this new series with Netflix that offers a refreshing look at the glamor film world,” said Shahrukh, “a unique story brought to you by Aryan and the team at Red Chillies Entertainment.” This series is not going to be touching, moving and entertaining.’
Expected to be released in 2025, this series will be the sixth collaboration between Red Chillies and Netflix. Earlier, these two companies collaborated on Darlings, Bhashak, Class of 83, Betal, Bard of Blood.
Monica Shergill, Deputy Head of Netflix India, said that they are excited to collaborate with Red Chillies again. He says that this series will be directed by Aryan Khan.
