Kathmandu. Actor Sameer Bhatt has started shooting for ‘Balidan’ from Rangeli in eastern Nepal from Friday. Director Santosh Sen said that the scenes of Sameer and Richa Sharma’s parts are being shot since morning.
Saugat Malla and Arpan Thapa will join the set from Sunday. Mahesh Paudel’s team is shooting the film in place of Sanjay Lama, who shot the first phase.
“Since Lama did not want to shoot the film until February, we brought Paudel’s team in his place,” Sen said, “We have a shooting schedule for the next 45 days.” Sen said that if the work is completed on time, the film will be screened around New Year 2082.
Stander Sam will come from South India for the climax and pre-climax action choreography of the film.
Sen said that after the dispute over the salary arrears of cinematographers and some technicians reached the Film Technicians Association, the producer paid 2 lakhs to the lightman and 3 lakhs to the cinematographer.
He said, ‘Not as rumored, there was arrears of 500,000, and we paid that.’
