Kathmandu. The sixth season of ‘Voice of Nepal’ is expected to be interesting. Himalaya TV has said that the upcoming edition will be exciting and special in terms of viewership.
The sixth season is expected to air from the end of November. However, the official date has not come yet. Despite not being broadcast, the sixth season is in discussion due to changes in the coach. Amidst this discussion, there is new news about the show.
In the new season, the maximum number of four coaches’ chairs have rotated. 61 people took the blind audition, 25 people managed to turn the chair of the four coaches. This is a record since the journey of ‘Voice of Nepal’ started. Director Laxman Poudel said, ‘The highest number of four chairs have been turned so far’, ‘Now it is a sign that talented singers are also coming to reality shows.’
In the fifth season, only 9 people managed to rotate four chairs. According to the global structure of The Voice, there is a rule that coaches should rotate according to the contestant’s audition preferences. ‘It can be understood that the four chairs are taking the music seriously. Good singers have also come to Voice. This time, that number seems to increase even more’ said Paudel.
In the new season, more artists from the melody genre have come. Then there are many rock singers. The lowest number of folk repeats is from Janara. This time, famous folk singer Khem Century is the coach to make folk singing inclusive. Along with Century, this time Raju Lama, Uday Sotang and Melina Rai are the coaches.
In order to increase the viewership, Voice wants to be closer to the audience by taking chairs to different movie halls, malls and crowded places. There is a plan to give the audience the experience of rotating the chair by placing it in the chair. Managing Director Shyam Kandel said that Himalaya TV is also preparing to do ‘Flashomb’ from next week.
