Kathmandu. Comedian Sandeep Chhetri entertained the police with a comedy performance at Police Headquarters Naxal. On Sunday evening, the auditorium of the police headquarters resounded with laughter.
Sandeep said that the purpose of the program named ‘Laughter for Life’ is to thank the police for their social contributions. The auditorium was packed to see and listen to his comedy where more than 500 different officers of the district, traffic and armed police participated.
Sandeep and his band entertained for one and a half hours. Sandeep satirized the difficulties of the police, the service facilities and the issues that need to be improved. AIG Tech Rai said that Sandeep should be made a police goodwill ambassador.
Sandeep and the band were also honored on the occasion by the police. ‘We are very excited. It seems to be thanks and dedication towards contributing to the community,” said Sandeep. He said that this is the first program to make the police laugh at the headquarters of the Nepal Police. The audio visual department of the police coordinated the program.
‘They are very hard at work. We have organized a program so that you can relax even for a moment’ said Sandeep. This is the third edition of ‘Laughter for Life’. Earlier, the program was held in honor of those who are engaged in exercise and medical field.
The next edition is planned to focus on Paralympians and dedicate it to those involved in sports. Apart from this, there are plans to bring programs focusing on young politicians.
Sandeep said, ‘The kind of people we include, they enjoy doing good and fun things in the same genre.’ This program is being held under the social responsibility of Nepse Bull.
