Kathmandu. The teaser of the film ‘Bam Bahadur’ starring actor Saugat Malla has been released. In the teaser, 5th of January has been announced as the performance date.
It is said that the film will be screened simultaneously in Nepal and India on that date. This film with a message and historical narrative depicts the struggle of the Nepali speaking community living in the Darjeeling hills and Doors of India.
It is said that the story is based on the events that happened in the 1980s. Director John Rai referred to this film as a digital document. He says that the film contains mystery, curiosity, love and social stories.
Producer Sanjeev Sarki said that he made the film with the aim of reminding the children of history. Produced under the banner of Bista Brothers Films Pvt Ltd, this film features Prashant Rai, Anisha Rasaili, Bhaskar Pradhan, Mahendra Bagdas, Madan Bhujel, Bharat Vashishth, Ajay Pradhan, Shantila Tamang, Riya Bhujel, child actor Vashist Karki, Suresh Panchkoti along with Saugat.
