Applications are open for the 3rd ‘Jeevant Nepal Music Award’

Kathmandu. Agleshwari Hills Development Fund is going to organize the third ‘Jeevant Nepal Music Award’. The fund has informed that creators and artists who wish to participate in the award should fill the form before 30th of November.

Chairman of the fund Sijam Sinjali said that through the award program, it is believed that Ramechhap’s Agleshwari, Sailung and Khanda Devi tourism promotion will be supported and it is also hoped that the construction of the Buddha statue on Agleshwari Hill will be facilitated.

Awards will be given in about 25 categories such as modern, folk, pop, folk song, ghazal, national sentiment, language, film song. Sinjali said that awards will be given in categories such as singers, singers, composers, songwriters, music coordinators, instrumentalists, music video directors, cinematographers, editors, choreographers, models, dress designers, and make-up artists. Likewise, people who have made special contributions in the social sector will also be honored.

For the application, the form can be filled from the website and Facebook page of Agleswari Hills and from the contact office at New Baneshwar Thapagaon of Agleswari Hills. Sinjali said that the entire amount received from the form will be spent on the tourism promotion of Agleshwari Hills Ramechhap.

Sinjali organized the first edition of ‘Jeevant Nepal Music Award’ in 2078. In the first award program held at Solti Hotel in Kathmandu, awards were presented in 38 different categories of songs and music. The second edition was held in January last year at Rashtriya Nachghar.

Sinjali said that the third edition of the award is being prepared outside Nepal.
