Kathmandu. This year’s National Film Awards have been distributed. President Ramchandra Poudel presented awards to filmmakers in various categories at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas on Wednesday.
The film ‘Bulaki’ has been awarded the best film award. The best director award was given to Nischal Basnet for the film ‘Dimag Badal’. Similarly, Bipin Karki won the best actor award for ‘Prasad 2’ and Swastima Khadka won the best actress award for ‘Dimag Badal’.
Raj Bahadur Sane from ‘Bulaki’ was awarded for best screenplay and dialogue, Shiv Dhakal from ‘Bulaki’ as best cinematographer and Mitra D Gurung from ‘Mahajatra’ as best editor.
The film ‘Jari’ won the award for the best commercial success film. Similarly, Swastima Khadka from ‘Tulki’ was given Jury Encouragement Award.
The National Film Award distribution ceremony is being held at Sheetal Niwas.
