Anjana Barailly and Praveen Khatiwada at the auspicious occasion of ‘Dori’
Kathmandu. Actress Anjana Barailly is currently riding on the success of hit films. ‘Mahapurusha’, ‘Pujaar Sarki’ and the all-time blockbuster ‘Poorna Bahadur Ko Sarangi’ have taken his career to the peak.
Anjana, who has the ability to mold herself into a character, has been preferred recently. Batuli, the character played by her in ‘Poorna Bahadur Ko Sarangi’, is a strong character portrayal, who fights with her husband for her son’s future.
It is decided that Anjana will shoot for the upcoming film ‘Dori’ from Sunday. The film was launched in Lalitpur on Thursday. Along with Anjana, Praveen Khatiwada, Shishir Bangdel, Raj Paudel, Birendra Singh Kushwaha, Vishal Rai, Milan Rai, Kavita Ale and others are acting in the film.
Arun Lama is directing the film. Director Thapa said that the film will present a relationship story. The film presents the relationship and responsibility tied by the rope name. The characters of this film are connected in their own way’ said Thapa.
The film will introduce the social reality and contemporary context. Anjana has also taken the collaboration with the new team as a special experience. She says, ‘It is always fun to work on a new project. It has a new idea. It will give a new feeling to the audience. After the Muhurat, I am full of energy and enthusiasm.’
Actor Praveen Khatiwada said that the film has a combination of mystery story, social realism and suspense crime. Manoj Pandit has done ‘script doctoring’. The producer is Dinesh Bhattarai and the executive producer is Raj Thapa.
Rajanraj Sivakoti is the music composer, Saurabh Lama is the cinematographer and Raju Tamang will direct the action direction. The performance of ‘Dori’ is set to be held in 2025.
