‘Bato’ on Amazon Prime Video

Kathmandu. Lately, Nepali films are being streamed on the international platform Amazon Prime Video. The platform is giving priority to Nepali content.

Another Nepali film ‘Bato’ has also been released on this platform. The English name of this film is ‘Road to Death’. This film was screened in theaters in Nepal on May 32.

The film has started showing on Amazon Prime along with Tubi and Book My Show streams. Amazon Prime is available for people living in the US and European countries, while it is also available for viewers living in the same geography on Tubi.

It is streaming in Nepali language with English subtitles in India from ‘Book My Show Stream’, a popular platform in South Asia. Producer Chandan Jha said that ‘Future TV’ and other OTTs will be available for the global audience.

“After working on more than 200 international projects, we made this film after realizing that we should contribute to increase the quality and reach of Nepali films,” producer Jha said.

‘Bato’ is written and directed by Madan Thapa. It stars Mithila Sharma, Ashant Sharma, Sulakshan Bharti, Raksha Thapa, Utpal Jha, Pashupati Rai, Rajen Thapa, Abhas Adhikari, Kiran Shahi, Ganesh Upadhyay and others.
