Kathmandu. Garima Sharma has been roped in as the lead actress in the comedy film ‘Jante Bakhro’ directed by Simos Sunuwar. A written agreement was signed between producer and actress Sharma on Friday.
Earlier, Sougat Malla and Asif Shah were signed for the top roles of this film. This is Sharma’s fourth feature film after ‘London to Paris’, ‘Bride and Bride’ and ‘Hraswa Dilig’.
This will be her first film as a lead actress. The story, screenplay and dialogues are written by Pradeep Bhardhaj. It is customary to call jante goat the feast served to janti on the day of bringing in the bride. The plot will be based on it.
Santosh Gautam and director Simos Sunuwar will invest in the film, which will be produced under the banner of Mueen Entertainment. Cinematography will be done by Hari Humagai. The workshop of the film, which will start shooting from January 1st, will start from December 20th.
The performance is targeted in May.
