Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty’s house raided in pornography case

Kathmandu. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the house of Bollywood couple Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty on Friday morning in connection with the pornography case. After that, Kundra’s office was also raided.

Apart from this, searches are also being conducted in around 15 places in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh, according to the Indian media. ED is also looking for places to make pornography films through mobile applications and other means.

Actresses Poonam Pandey, Sherlyn Chopra and Gehana Vasishtha were also accused of making porn films.

Kundra was arrested last July. Kundra’s Hotshot app was accused of broadcasting obscene videos. He was accused of making obscene material under IPC Section 292, 296, treachery, hypocrisy under Section 420, Information Technology Act, posting and broadcasting obscene material through digital media, indecent representation of women, etc.

Just a few months ago, the Enforcement Directorate had seized property worth Rs 97.79 crore belonging to Shilpa and Raj Kundra. This includes Shilpa’s Juhu flat and bungalow and equity shares registered in Kundra’s name. The case relates to money laundering in the 2002 Bitcoin Ponzi scheme scam.
