Kathmandu. The movie ‘Khusma’, which was preferred in the halls, has been released on the OTT platform. MSM Video has started streaming Dheeraj Magar and Upasana Singh Thakuri starrer from Friday.
For a few weeks, ‘Bride from Meghauli’, ‘Dimag Badal’, ‘Mahajatra’, ‘Ghar Zwain’, ‘Agastya’, and ‘Farki Farki’ have been released on this platform. Directed by Ashok Thapa, this film tells the story of Rukum’s environment during the armed conflict.
The famous song of the film ‘Rukum Makot’ was streaming on YouTube’s global trending for one and a half months. This song also held the record of the longest streaming Nepali song in global trending.
Mao Zedong, Sujata Rai, Astitta Bhattachan and other actors are acting in the film. The netizens can watch the film on OTT within a few months after it has been screened in theaters and abroad. This Oteet platform, which started serving on the day before Dashain Tika, has been downloaded by 2 lakh people so far. ‘Bride from Meghauli’ was highly preferred on this platform.
Preparations are being made to make this OTT platform more convenient for Apple TV and Google TV.
