Kathmandu. The Bhim Virag Sangeet Sahitya Kala Pratishthan will award this year’s Vijulimaya Van: Shrestha International Music Award to lyricist Neer Shah.
The award was announced at a press conference held in Lalitpur on Sunday. Kanhaiyakrishna Shrestha Vanah, patron of the organization, informed that it was decided to award Shah for his unparalleled contribution to the field of Nepali song and music.
On the occasion of Virag’s birthday, the award will be presented at a ceremony to be held in Hetounda on January 15.
