Kathmandu. BTS has become the most listened to K-pop band in the world in 2024. BTS is at the top of the new list released by Spotify, the world’s biggest audio platform.
Since 2018, no one has been able to surpass BTS in Spotify’s annual list. Interestingly, the band has not released a new album since 2022. However, the band is still at the top.
In this achievement, the band has surpassed other world-famous musicians Drake and Bad Bunny. The band’s 100 songs have been streamed over 100 million times on Spotify. Apart from this, the band’s other albums ‘Tear’, ‘Love Yourself’ have also been listened to more than 100 million times.
Currently, all members of BTS are in compulsory military service. Some have completed the service. Despite that, no one has been able to surpass the dominance of BTS. Some members have brought songs alone.
Of which Jungkook’s ‘Golden’ and Jimin’s ‘Muse’ are currently in the news. According to data, Jimin’s song ‘Hu’ is the most listened to Asian single worldwide. This song is at the 17th position. Jungkook’s ‘Seven Songs’ is in 28th place. ‘Standing Next to You’ is in 34th place.
In 2024, BTS continued to dominate the world with some of their achievements. This group has been listened to 39 billion times so far. The band’s song ‘Spring Day’ became the first song in the band’s history to get one billion streams.
