Kathmandu. On the occasion of the 30th Metropolis Day, famous artists and bands are going to give a musical performance at Tundikhel Maidan on 29th November. Kathmandu Metropolitan City has announced the lineup of performing artists, which includes musicians and groups that have been very popular in recent times.
Deep Shrestha, Omvikram Bista, Yogeshwar Amatya, Sanjay Shrestha, James Pradhan, Sugam Pokharel and Bajagaza, Asmita Adhikari, Rachna Rimal, Urgen Dong, Kehar and Joy, Kuma Sagar and the Khwap, Sujan Chapagain, Ekdev Limbu, Mahesh Kafle, Babukrishna Pariyar , Sujil Karmacharya, Indrakala Rai, Sagar Prajapati, Sushant Ghimire and Sandeep Bista is going to give a presentation.
The metropolis informed that the concert will start from 3 pm on Saturday. On this occasion, it is said that free entry has been arranged for the audience.
This year, the main ceremony committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Balendra Shah (Balen), the head of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. The members of the committee include deputy head Sunita Dangol and the coordinator of the thematic committee.
On this occasion, local original tableaus will be exhibited, people who are famous in various fields will be honored, musical programs will be organized in the afternoon, food stalls will be set up to promote original food with cultural identity, materials and goods produced from the One Ward One Model Enterprise Program will also be exhibited.
On November 29, 2052, Kathmandu Municipality was declared as Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality. This day is celebrated as Metropolitan Day.
