Kathmandu. Rohit Adhikari’s film ‘Maitighar’, which is a family story, has got a top line-up of actors. Kedar Prasad Ghimire ‘Magne Budha’, Prakash Saput, Upasana Singh Thakuri and Buddhi Tamang have signed the film.
The producer official said that other actors are also yet to be decided. There is talk that Dheeraj Magar will also join the film, but a written agreement has not been reached. The film, which is going to be directed by debut director Milan Tamang, will present the story of family relationships and feelings.
Filming is scheduled to start from February or March. The pre-production work of the film, which will be shot in Kathmandu, Shailung and Kavre, is currently underway. The production official informed that the film is scheduled to be released in Dashain 2082.
Ravin Sherchan and Dheeraj Tamang are the producers. Ishwar Shrestha and Chandrakumar Dong are assistant producers. Adhikari has earlier produced Gazul, Chha Maya Chhapakkai and Parchi Parchi. Rohit said that it will make the campaign better. It is said that the top song of the previous film of the same name ‘Maitighar’ will also be included in this film.
