Kathmandu. Actor Kedar Ghimire, popularly known as ‘Magne Budha’, has said that he gets paid more than 50 lakh rupees from a film. “I have agreed to receive a salary above 50 lakhs from all the films I have signed after Kangaroo,” he told Online News.
However, he said that it would not be appropriate to disclose the exact amount from a security point of view. I did not ask for this salary myself. The situation is becoming that the producers themselves have to pay,’ he said, ‘they have given wages spontaneously.’
If what Kedar says is true, he is the most expensive actor in domestic films. He is the most sought after actor these days. After the film ‘Chhakkapanja 5’, which he is the executive producer of, he is currently signing films in a frenzy. Since then he has signed ‘Kangaru’, ‘Magne Raja’, ‘Maitighar’. He said that there is no plan to sign a film after ‘Maitighar’.
‘I did not sign after marriage. If you sign too many, you are afraid that it will be damaged,’ he said. He said that even now one film offer is coming in a week. He said that he is working on salary because there is a possibility of getting into the partnership. “The salary is fixed,” he said.
Kedar refuted the rumors that he has left the group of ‘Chakkapanja 5’. After the coming Tihar, the group of ‘Chakkapanja’ is planning to shoot a film. He said that the work is going on according to the plan to have the script in June-July and he is talking to the producer Deepakraj Giri about it.
