Kathmandu. Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has been arrested by the police. On December 4, the police arrested him on charges related to the stampede that took place during the screening of the film ‘Pushpa 2’ in a hall in Hyderabad.
Indian Express has written a news about this. A 39-year-old woman was killed in the stampede and her son was seriously injured.
The police filed a case against the management of Sandhya Theatre, the artist and his security team. It is said that the authorities did not even give advance notice that the premiere ceremony was going to be held in that hall.
Allu was taken into custody by a team of Chikkadapally police station on Friday, where a case was registered.
While registering the FIR, Akshansh Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Zone, Hyderabad Police, told The Indian Express, ‘A case has been filed under BNS Sections 105 (punishment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 118. The police said that the incident is being investigated and if found guilty, action will be taken according to the law.
