Kathmandu. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandana starrer ‘Pushpa 2’ has become the highest grossing Hindi film. According to Times of India, the Hindi version of this Telugu film has surpassed the Shraddha Kapoor starrer comedy-horror drama ‘Stree 2’.
The film held the record for the fastest Hindi film to earn Rs 600 crore on Tuesday. Earlier, ‘Stree 2’ became the highest-grossing Hindi film, surpassing Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’. The earnings of this film are 597.99 crores.
Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ has earned 607.35 crores in 14 days of release. The film has collected 16.25 crore rupees in just fourteen days. It earned 725 crores in the first week itself. In 6 days, the film has earned an additional 257 crores.
So far the collection of this film has reached 973.1 crore across India. This film needs an additional 30 crores to set the record of the highest grossing film in India. The highest grossing history in India so far is in the name of ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’, directed by SS Rajamouli, which earned 1,300 crores at the Indian box office.
