Priyanka, Istusahitaka content creator TikTok’s ‘Digital Safety Ambassador’

Kathmandu. Social network Tiktok has selected some Nepali ‘content creators’ as digital safety ambassadors of the platform. In a discussion program held this week, they were identified as ‘Safety Ambassadors’.

Content creators Osin Sitaula, Parakram Rana, Sushant Pradhan, Manjita Manandhar, Rashtra Vimochan Timalsena, Sri Pandey, Priyanka Karki, Anish Tamang, Ishtu Karki, Vipin Sattala, Sarika Neupane, Mahima Adhikari, Savitra Bhandari, Rehan Shrestha, Ronishma Shrestha and Deepak Sundas. He is identified as a messenger.

In line with its ongoing efforts to promote a safe and welcoming digital space for a vibrant and diverse community, Tiktok has launched its Safety Ambassador program in Nepal.

Those content creators and officials of Tik Tok discussed various aspects of digital security including misinformation, harassment, cyber bullying, online frauds while advocating responsible use of the Internet and creating safe content.

On that occasion, suggestions and guidelines were also given to the guests of the program on how to become a good content creator by creating attractive content. During the question-and-answer session, the audience also got an exciting insight into the various challenges of content creation by interacting with the creators.

Through this initiative, Tiktok will partner with Tiktok creators, celebrities and key opinion makers to deliver a powerful message about online safety, empowering users with the knowledge they need to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly. Before that, Tiktok also held a discussion program with policy makers.
