December 5, Kathmandu. The screening date of Nepali movie ‘Jhilko’ has been moved. Film director Yadav Kumar Bhattarai informed that the new date of the performance has been fixed on 19 Baisakh. Earlier, the first look of the movie was released and the release date was announced on 5th December.
Director Bhattarai informed that the shooting of some scenes of the film was completed last Sunday. He said that now the date has been moved with preparations to do some more work in post production. “We pushed the performance date with the intention of spending time on post-production,” he said. This is his third directorial feature after Jhola and Bhor.
Sunil Pokharel, Varsha Sivakoti, Bholaraj Sapkota, Vishal Pokharel and Ayushi Dhakal are the main actors in the movie. The film’s production team has informed about the problems seen in children due to mobile addiction and its impact on the family and society.
Bhattarai, who produced the film ‘Jhola’ on the story of sati, then made the anti-dowry film ‘Bhor’ in 2019. The screenplay and dialogue of ‘Jhilko’ have been prepared by Arundev Joshi and Devvrat along with director Bhattarai.
