Kathmandu. Season 6 of the musical reality show ‘The Voice of Nepal’ has been officially announced. At the press conference held on Friday, the sponsor was announced and information was given about the broadcast date.
Dant Manjan is ‘close up’ as the top sponsor of the new season. Himalaya TV Chairman Dharmaraj Bhusal presented Token of Love to Saurabh Rajakarnikar, Marketing Head of Unilever at the press conference. The co-sponsors are Sunfist Fantasy and Rohoto Sunplay.
It is said that the show will be broadcast on Himalaya TV and Himalaya TV Premium from Friday and Saturday of the third week of January at 8 pm. Voice of Nepal will be streaming on YouTube channel from 8:30 pm.
President of Himalaya TV Bhusal said that this program is the reality show of the country that has been broadcast for a long time and thanked the team for this. Executive director Shyam Kandel said that their goal is to reach a wider audience from the sixth season.
‘Looking at the variance of the coach, our goal is to reach a wider audience’, he said, ‘We will continue to bring the world’s famous programs to the audience. Nepal’s Next Top Model and Shark Tank will be our new programs.
Program Director Lakshman Paudel said that the structure of the show will be the same but the content will be new. “The audience will get a new experience this time,” said Paudel. The coaches of the sixth season are Uday Sotang, Raju Lama, Melina Rai and Khem Century.
Popstar Raju Lama of Mongolian Heart has returned as a coach through the new season. He spoke briefly to the media saying that he got an opportunity to return to the show after two years. Famous folk singer Century, who entered as a coach for the first time, sang the latest hit song ‘Ma Ta Dhalen Dhalen’ on the occasion.
Singer Melina Rai said that she joined Voice of Nepal for the first time after the third season of Kids. She believes that she will get the benefit of coaching the kids this time.
On this occasion, the teaser of the sixth season was released. At this time, the filming of the blind audition of the new season is over. 64 talents selected from this round will compete in the battle round.
