Himalaya TV to bring fashion reality show ‘Nepal’s Next Top Model’

Kathmandu. Himalaya Television is going to bring the Nepali version of the world famous American fashion reality show ‘Next Top Model’. TV Executive Director Shyam Kandel disclosed this in a press conference held to inform about ‘Voice of Nepal’ season 6.

According to him, preparations are being made to broadcast ‘Nepal’s Next Top Model’ from March. This fashion show, which will be made in the same structure as ‘Himalaya Roadies’, will also be Nepal’s first fashion reality show, which is said to be filmed from March.

The judge of the show directed by ‘Voice of Nepal’ fame Lakshman Poudel is ready to be announced soon. Initially, 20 models will be selected through global physical and digital auditions.

The judge will give the selected model daily tasks including personality development and challenges along with photo shoots. There will be a one-time shooting of 14 episodes in the show, which will have a total of 20 episodes, and the remaining winners will be selected based on the votes of the audience and the judge’s decision.

Himalaya TV is going to bring a show based on fashion for the first time. The reality show ‘Shark Tank’ based on entrepreneurship is also sure to come. Apart from this, adventure reality show ‘Himalaya Roadies’ and singing based ‘The Voice of Nepal’ and ‘Voice Kids’ are being aired.

‘We believe that reality shows from different regions will help connect with the audience,’ said Himalaya TV Executive Director Kandel, ‘Our goal is to keep the interests and desires of the audience at the forefront of the current crisis market.’

Next Top Model reality show started from America. The concept of top model created by Tyra Banks is now being broadcast as a franchise in different countries of the world. In India, Malaika Arora conducted the Indian version.
