Kathmandu. Singer Ekdev Limbu’s latest song ‘Jhimzhimaune Anon’ was on the YouTube charts for a few days. This song is still in the top position in Nepal trending on YouTube.
Apart from YouTube, this song has also been liked on music audio platform Spotify.
This Nepali song has also got a place in the Spotify list of top 50 viral songs in India. It is at the 44th position in the ‘Viral 50-India’ list till Monday evening. Spotify prepares this list according to real time streaming.
As for why this song has played in India, Dikila Sherpa, who is known as a competitor of MTV’s famous reality show ‘Spiltsvilla’, has acted in the video of the song. After the reality show, Sherpa is not only discussed among the Nepali-speaking people of India, but also among the non-Nepali-speaking people.
The song has Limbu’s words, singing and music, along with Dikila, Nepali actress Upasanasingh Thakuri is also acting.
