Kathmandu. Former Miss Nepal Namrata Shrestha’s debut film ‘Rangi’ is scheduled to be screened in Japan as well. The producer sold the distribution rights of the film to Yuna Entertainment on Monday.
In Nepal, this film is ready to be screened in theaters on February 2. Directed by Suresh Neupane, the film features Namrata along with Salon Basnet, Dilip Rayamazhi, Ayushi Dhakal, Uttam KC and others.
The film is based on the story of the emotional relationship between father and daughter. According to the motion poster of the film, Salon and Namrata play the role of a couple. Salon started his career as a producer from this film.
Namrata is the winner of Miss Nepal World 2022. Currently, she is working as a host in the television comedy show ‘Comedy Darbar’. Before that, she also hosted Himalaya TV’s singing reality show ‘Nepal Lokstar’.
‘Rangi’ is produced by Karisma KC and Saksham Subedi, who is also Salon’s wife. It has screenplay by Suman Gajmer, cinematography by Saurabh Lama, music by Durgesh Thapa, Amesh Bhandari and Bhim Bisi.
