Kathmandu. The last week of 2024 has already started. This week is sure to be special for OTT viewers. Because this week Netflix’s much-awaited survival series ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 is starting. No one has been able to break the previous part of it in the viewership so far.

This series was in the center of world media in 2021. This is one of the most watched shows on OTT. After three years, its second season is starting this week. Its story follows Seong Gi-hoon, who returns to the deadly competition three years after his victory in the previous season. This time he is trying to fight against an organization that organizes a dangerous game. He will be joined by new contestants Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon and Yang Dong-geun.
After winning this horror game show, the game’s contestants will receive 45.6 billion won (266 crores). This series is going to be released on Netflix on 26 December.

‘Khoj : Parchhaiin Ke Us Par’ is a Hindi web series. Its story revolves around Ved (Sharib Hashmi), who goes in search of his missing wife Meera. Meera has mysteriously disappeared. Doctors is a Hindi web series. It has Harleen Sethi, Aamir Ali, Viraf Patel and Vivaan Shah in lead roles along with Sharad Kelkar. Its story is set in the prestigious Elizabeth Blackwell Medical Center in Mumbai. Dr. Nitya Vasu (Harleen Sethi) is an aspiring surgical resident who meets Dr. Ishaan wants to remove Ahuja (Sharad Kelkar).
Ishaan is a famous neurosurgeon. Nitya feels that Ishaan is responsible for the ruin of her brother’s career. When Nitya is forced to work with Ishaan, the story takes a new turn. The series unfolds the story of a complex web of ambition, love and betrayal in the midst of a medical emergency. You can watch it on OTT platform Jio Cinema from 27th December.
Gladiator 2
The audience is waiting for ‘Gladiator 2’. The film was released in theaters on 15 November. Its story begins many years after the death of the main character Maximus. The film revolves around Lucious. The powerful emperor of Rome has occupied his house. He must enter the Colosseum. The film stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Lior Raj, Derek Jacobi, Connie Nielsen and Denzel Washington. The film will be released on Prime Video on 23rd December.

This film by Oscar-nominated director Ava DuVernay is based on Isabel Wilkerson’s book ‘Cast: The Origin of Our Discontents’. Released in the year 2023, this film is a biographical drama, which tells the story of Isabel Wilkerson. In the film, Angenue Ellis-Taylor played the role of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Isabelle.
The story takes the characters from the terrible ruins of Nazi Germany to the racial divide in India and racial inequality in the United States. The film also stars Jon Bernthal, Niecy Nash, Emily Yancey and Vera Farmiga. The film ‘Origin’ will be released on Netflix on December 25.
