Kathmandu. Following his brother’s legacy, the Nepali superhero film ‘Guleli’ starring Kundun Shakya, who is active in acting, has been released on YouTube. Kundun is the brother of famous actor Karm.
Directed by Anil Neupane, this film is said to be the original superhero of Nepal. “When a concerned and ordinary Nepali youth named Biki is dressed as a superhero, he goes out on the streets of Kathmandu to fight against corruption,” Neupane said about the film’s synopsis.
Earlier, Neupane, who was active in short and advertisement films, made a plot film. He also wrote the story of this film. Along with Kundun, Luniva Tuladhar is also playing the lead role in this film made under the banner of Jazz Productions.
Due to the new concept and limited budget, ‘Guleli’ was released on YouTube without being screened in the halls. Director Neupane says, ‘This film can mark our efforts to create superheroes. We expect it to reach many viewers through the digital platform.’
Jazz Productions has released the film through its own YouTube channel. The runtime of the film is 57 minutes.
