Kathmandu. Actress Swastima Khadka gifted an iPhone to Karnali Yaks cricketer Bipin Sharma, who won the Emerging Player Award in Nepal Cricket League (NPL).
Swastima Karnali is also Yaks’ promotion ambassador. During every match of her team, Khadka was present at the TU cricket ground and encouraged the team.
Cricketer Sharma said that Swastima gave him a phone gift as a Christmas gift through social media. He also shared the gift he received and the written note given by Swastima.
Swastima writes in the note, ‘Congratulations on your incredible success in NPL. This phone is a small token of appreciation for your hard work and dedication. May it bring countless good calls both in your life and on the field. I wish you the best of luck.’
Sharma took 13 wickets for Karnali in the NPL.
