Kathmandu. The first song of the movie ‘Karsang’, which is going to be released on 26th of January, has been released. Top artists Dayahang Rai and Srijana Ninglekhu are featured in the poignant song with the lyrics of ‘Sat Bhanjyang’.
The song has lyrics by DP Khanal, music by SD Yogi. Yogi and Reshma Pun Magar are singing. The arranger is Rikesh Gurung.
In the song, which is directed by Lama, Dayahang and Srijana are presented in Limbu, Gurung and Sherpa costumes. The feeling of love and dedication is also presented in the song.
It seems that the song, shot in a setup that reflects the culture of the tribal community, also wants to tell the story of the film. Directed and written by Yam Sherpa, the film also stars Jitu Nepal, Diya Maske, Buddhi Tamang, Srishti Gautam, Doma Hyolmo, Prem Lopchan, Surveer Pandit, Kavita Ale.
This is Ninglekhu’s debut film. She played the lead female role in the film. In the film, he is paired with Dayahang. Jeetu’s pair is tied with Diya.
Produced in collaboration between Yarsa Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, the film is produced and directed by Purushottam Pradhan. Angchiring Sherpa is the executive producer. The co-producer is Govind Bohra. The film will present the lack, poverty and the cultural narrative of the Sherpa community.
