Kathmandu. The audience has to wait till 2027 for the awaited Hollywood superhero film ‘Batman’. The release date of the film, which was earlier scheduled to release on October 26, 2026, has been shifted.
Hollywood Studio Warner Brothers has announced that this film will be released on October 1, 2027. It is now confirmed that the film starring Tom Cruise and Oscar-winning director Alejandro Inarritu will be released on the predetermined date of ‘Batman’. According to Warner Bros., this untitled film will release on October 2, 2026.
The release dates of some other films have also been changed. Not much is known about Tom and Iñárritu’s film, but according to the official logline released by Warner Bros., it will be an action-adventure film.
“The most powerful man in the world must go on a mission to prove that he is the protector of humanity before the world is destroyed,” the logline states. Other star cast members include Sandra Haller, John Goodman, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons, Sophie Wild and Riz Ahmed.
‘Dune’ production company Legendary Entertainment is producing the film. This is a different portrayal for Tom who has been busy with traditional action films like ‘Mission: Impossible’ and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’.
Iñárritu has previously won Oscars for ‘Birdman’ and ‘The Revenant’.
