When reality shows of different genres come, it is expected to cover the variety of interests and desires of the audience. Out of which some of the shows have been officially announced and some are in preparation.
Keeping in mind the interest of the audience, Himalaya TV has increased its investment in reality shows of different tastes and styles to bring them to the audience. Eight awaited reality shows will be telecasted in 2025 on Himalaya TV alone.
Out of which the awaited reality show will be the business reality show ‘Shark Tank Nepal’. The Nepal version of this show which is being distributed worldwide by Sony Pictures TV is the 54th franchise. The broadcast of this show, which is being produced with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and investment, is scheduled to start from April.
The show will be directed by Simos Sunuwar of ‘Himalaya Roadies’ fame. 100 entrepreneurs will pitch their business and entrepreneurship ideas in a total of 20 episodes with five entrepreneurs in one episode. It is said that the show will raise an investment of Rs 30 to 40 crores.
The first fashion-based reality show ‘Nepal’s Next Top Model’ season 1 is going to be aired from February-April. Now that the judges have been decided, the application is ready to be opened.
Two seasons 6 and 7 of the musical reality show ‘Voice of Nepal’ are scheduled to be broadcast by 2025. It is said that the sixth season will be broadcast from January 4. It is said that the sixth season will end in Baisakh and the seventh season will be launched in the coming Dashain.
The seventh season of Himalaya Roadies will also come in the new year. The sixth season is currently being broadcast. In the same year, the fourth season of Voice Kids is also planned to be released.
In the year 2025, it is said that the singing reality show ‘Nepal Lokstar’ based on folk songs will also come. Comedy reality show ‘Comedy Nights with Champion’ directed by Vishal Bhandari is also ready to come from next January.
Looking at it this way, the lineup of reality shows on Himalaya TV looks strong.
