In the 6 places of the east, there will be mobile Kimf

Kathmandu. To promote short films, ‘Ghumti Kimf’ will be organized in various places in eastern Nepal. Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMF) is going to hold programs in 6 places in eastern Nepal.

It is said that Ghumti Kimf will be organized in Itahari from 28th to 29th, in Ilam Bazar and Fikkal in Ilam from 2nd to 3rd January, in Damak and Surunga in Jhapa from 5th to 6th and in Dharan from 8th to 9th January. During that time, a panel discussion session has been organized from film screening.

“Currently, the tour will be held in the districts of the east and the west,” said Ramita Limbu, president of the organizing Kimf Foundation. The next edition of KIMF is being held in Kathmandu from 28th May to 1st June. Film applications are now being invited for this.

The International Documentary Lab, a South Asian documentary project, will be organized for the first time at Kimf in Kathmandu. Famous South Asian documentary makers Rintu Thomas, Arun Bhattarai and Anam Abbas are coming to Kathmandu as mentors for the lab.
