Is ‘Squid Game’ star Lee Jung Jae going to make his debut in Hollywood’s MCU?

Kathmandu. ‘Squid Game’ famed South Korean star Lee Jung Jae has been offered for the popular Hollywood franchise series Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

After the global success of the Netflix series ‘Squid Game’, actor J has been offered a Marvel movie, according to international media. However, his management company has not officially announced this.

Actor J’s Hollywood debut started to be discussed after this was posted on the popular X (formerly Twitter) account like Comic Movie and My Time to Sign. It has not been revealed what role he has been offered.

It is understood that Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige contacted actor J and talked about it. However, it is not revealed which character he talked to Jay about. According to the media agency, actor J is allowed to choose the roles he wants.

Actor J is not the first actor to be rumored to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Last year also, there was news that he was in talks to play the supervillain Mr. Negative in the Hollywood Spider-Man series.

In 2022, several media outlets reported that he was in talks to join Marvel Studios for a film.

If Lee Jung Jae joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he will be the fourth Korean actor to do so. Previously, Claudia Kim in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, Ma Dong Seok in ‘Eternals’ and Park Seo Joon in ‘The Marvels’ have acted.
