The selection competition of ‘World of Dance Nepal’ will be held in Kathmandu this Thursday 24th. The selected contestants will be able to represent their country and compete in the World of Dance USA.
America’s best dance platform, World of Dance, has about 100,000 dance talents from 25 countries around the world participating.
Organizer Mandala Entertainment said that the competition is going to be held in Nepal with the aim of exposing the hidden talent in the country. For this, more than 300 applications have been received from all over the country. They applied through digital audition. According to the organizer, 50 contestants are going to be selected from among them.
For this, dancing talents will be searched for in upper division and junior division. Upper division for 18 years and above and junior division for under 18 years. In the upper division, they will be able to compete in solo, duo, trio and quad. Likewise, the junior team will be able to participate in three categories.
15 teams will be formed from the upper team and 10 from the junior team. The winners will get a cash prize of one lakh rupees and a certificate.
The first, second and third place will be eligible to participate in the World of Dance, US, which will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in the United States. It is said that the competition will be held from 16 to 25 July.
