The famous actress Yu Hong is also in the Chinese film team coming to Kathmandu

Kathmandu. The visiting team of Chinese filmmakers who will participate in the one-day ‘China Film Day’ to be held in Kathmandu on Thursday has been finalized. Organizer Nepal Film and Cultural Academy informed about the team.

The 14-member team will be led by Su Yang, Director of International Department of China Film Administration. Yu Hong, the actress of the famous film ‘G for Gap’ and a two-time Golden Rooster Award winner, is also on the list.

Actress Hong is expected to interact with the participants after the screening of the film on ‘China Film Day’. Zheng Zheng, deputy director of China Film Administration’s marketing department, and Owen Young, head of Tiger Pictures Entertainment, are also on the list.

Jing Xiao, the director of the film ‘Personal Persistence’, Lu Wei, the screenwriter of ‘Life of Luosang’ and director Zhang Gudong, and Zhang Yu, the director of the film ‘Midsummer Voice’ are among others.

China Film Administration, Chinese Embassy, ​​China Film Archive and Nepal Film and Cultural Academy are going to organize the program.

3 Chinese films are scheduled to be screened in the program to be held at QFX’s Chaya Center. It has ‘Her Story’ directed by Yihui Sao as the opening film.

‘Midsummer’s Voice’ directed by UD Zhang and ‘G for Gap’ directed by Fei Long are scheduled to be screened. After the film screening, the producers, directors and actors will interact with the audience. It is said that former Finance Minister Varshman Pun will be the chief guest of the ceremony.

KP Pathak, president of Nepal Film and Cultural Academy, who is one of the organizers, said that the program will be a bridge to connect the vibrant culture of the two countries.
