Kathmandu. IIFT School of Fashion and Interior Designer has been attached as the costume partner of Buddhi Tamang’s film ‘Kusti’. Sunny Subba and Urja Manandhar, directors on behalf of IIFT, and Anil Yonjan, director on behalf of the film, signed the agreement.
According to the agreement, the film’s actors Dheeraj Magar and Miruna Magar will wear costumes designed by 24 students of IIFT.
After the agreement, director Yonjan said, ‘We have connected the students studying at IIFT with the film through fashion. We are confident that their latest thinking will embody the character we imagined.’
Artists Dheeraj and Miruna expressed their happiness that they are going to collaborate with IIFT for the first time. They discussed about their clothes and also did some dress trials.
IIFT chief Sunny Subbale said that cooperation has started a new way. She said, ‘We are doing various shows related to fashion and design. This time, the audience will get to see the latest ideas of IIFT on screen. This will bring a change in the costumes used by the actors in the film and the overall fashion.’
On this occasion, director Yonjan and artists interacted with the students. The film ‘Kusti’, made under the banner of Anusha Cinemawood Pictures Pvt Ltd, will be a love story of a couple in a relationship. The film is set to shoot from February. The performance target is in August 2082.
