Kathmandu. From now on, it is mandatory to register the Film Producers Association when screening a film in the hall. On Tuesday, the working group of the Film Producers’ Association and the Film Association reached an agreement on this.
Gopal Kayastha, a member of the working group, said that according to the agreement, before the release of the film, the association of producers and exhibitors must be registered with the Film Association. Along with this, no one will be able to release the film in the theater independently.
The task force consists of Udaya Subba, the coordinator from the Producers Association, and Kayastha member from the Film Association.
