Prakash Saput started shooting for the film ‘Soltini’ from Elam

Kathmandu. Actors including Prakash Saput have started shooting for the upcoming film ‘Soltini’ from Tuesday. Filming started with auspicious puja at Sano Pathibhara temple in Rong, Elam.

According to director Arjun Subedi, the schedule of the film will be 31 days. This will be Subedi’s second directorial project after his debut feature ‘Rangeli’.

Along with Saput, Pariksha Limbu, Sabbu Gurung and Sundar Dhital gave the first shot of the film in the temple premises. It is said that the shooting of this film will be done in the beautiful places of Ilam and Bhojpur.

The film will also feature Wilson Vikram Rai, Ravindra Jha, Prakash Ghimire, Prem Subba, Kavita Ale, Sujan Khatiwada. It has already been announced that Saput will play the lead role of ‘Bhimsen Pokharel’ and Limbu will play the lead role of ‘Dilasa Rai’. This couple is going to be seen together on screen for the first time.

The film will present a story against the prevailing inhumanity and caste discrimination in the society. The love story between the two main characters will also be its main attraction.

Music is given by Prashant Sivakoti and Hercules Basnet. Cinematography will be done by Susan Prajapati. Produced by Planet 3 Films, Napsine and Yolo Entertainment, the film is produced by Regina Beast and Sansar Chaulagai.
