Kathmandu. The international distribution rights of the film ‘Oonko Sweeter’, which is being screened, have been sold. Seven Seas International has purchased the rights of the film at a high price.
Patrick Subedi and Ramesh Dhakal’s new distribution company Seven Seas International has bought the rights for the US, Australia, Middle East, Malta and Malaysia. Distributor Subedi said that the film will be released in all these countries along with Nepal.
The film is ready to be screened in Nepal on the 26th of Baisakh. The distributor is preparing to release the film in America, Middle East and Asian countries on the same date.
For South Korea, ‘Panchthar Seva Samaj,’ for Canada, ‘MGP Entertainment,’ ‘Angan Event’ and ‘I and U Entertainment’ have bought the rights. In European countries other than Britain, Mama Events and Gurung KNS Entertainment and in Japan ‘Seva LL Company’ have taken the rights.
Directed by Naveen Chauhan, the film stars Vipin Karki, Miruna Magar, Sunil Pokharel, Maotse Gurung, Wilson Vikram Rai, Prem Subba, Alex Paras, Parikasha Limbu, Suraj Tamu, and Bhavna Khapangi Magar.
‘Oonko Sweeter’ is produced under the banner of Artmandu Pvt Ltd. The first song of the film, ‘Makhmali’, which was released 12 days ago, is gaining popularity on YouTube. This song is still trending on YouTube.
The lineup of ‘Seven Seas International’ includes ‘Laj Sharanam’ and ‘Pahad’ along with ‘Oonko Sweeter’.
