Kathmandu. The first song of the movie ‘Rangi’ starring Salon Basnet and Namrata Shrestha has been released. The song with lyrics and music by Durgesh Thapa was announced at the press conference held on Sunday.
The song features Anand Karki and Sujatha KC. The song features Dilip Rayamazhi, Ayushi Dhakal, Vishal Pahari and Uttam KC along with the film’s lead actors Salon and Namrata.
Love is included in this dancing track. Dance direction is by Kaviraj Gahatraj. After the release of the song, composer Durgesh said that the melody of 10 years ago has been included in the song. He said that it was a challenge for him to include veteran singers like singer Anand Karki in his music and words.
Durgesh and Anand had earlier also collaborated on the song ‘Dushman Hereko Heryai’. Presenter and actor Salon, remembering that he heard this song through virtual medium when he was in Australia, expressed his happiness that he was able to give a good song to the audience.
Debut actress and former Miss Nepal Shrestha said that it was a pleasure to join a social story film and to work on a song for a dancing number. Producer Karisma KC said that she is confident that the audience will support the first attempt.
Director Suresh Neupane said that ‘Rangi’ is the result of Salon and his thinking and said that the decade will have a mix of laughter and tears along with social stories. Produced under the banner of Sanvi Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the film also stars Dilip Rayamazhi, Ayushi Dhakal, Uttam KC, Sumin Gurung, and Vishal Pahari.
Produced by Saksham Subedi, Karisma KC Basnet and Anish Gautam, the film has writing by Suman Gajmer, cinematography by Saurabh Lama, music by Durgesh Thapa, Amesh Bhandari and Bhim Bisi. The film will be distributed by Apple Entertainment, FD and Rich Entertainment.
