Celebrities including Manisha, Rajesh are involved in tourism promotion

Kathmandu. Celebrities have started initiatives to promote tourism. Manisha Koirala, Rajesh Hamal and other artists have filmed a travel documentary show called ‘Yatra Nepal’ to introduce various tourist destinations.

A few days ago Manisha of Netflix series ‘Hiramandi’ fame visited Annapurna base camp and Ghandruk in Kaski and filmed the show. In the obtained picture, Manisha can be seen having fun hiking in Ghandruk and Annapurna ferries.

Manisha requested to visit these natural places of Nepal. Manisha herself is also interested in hiking. She has already trekked from Switzerland to Everest base camp.

Rajesh Hamal has promoted tourism by visiting different villages of Thalo Palpa where he was born a few months ago. Hamal has requested to come and visit Palpa and surrounding areas once, introducing the places, lifestyle and people there. The shooting of Hamal’s part in Thaloma along with Tansen has already been done.

Dasharath Sunar is directing this travel documentary show. The show was filmed for VFY Tux, which he is running. The television on which this show will be broadcast has not been decided yet. In a total of 16 episodes, various personalities will promote tourist spots.

Indian spiritual guru Ma Anand Sheela has promoted Kavre’s Dhulikhel. Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will promote culture and guerilla path. Director Sunar informed that the shooting of Prachanda is about to take place.

Cricketer Paras Khadka will promote sports tourism. Singer Anichhoing Dolma will promote music and sadhana. It is said that this show will be streaming in the next one month.
