Kathmandu. Nazir Hussain and Vijay Baral starrer ‘Hari Hazurba’ has managed to enter the top 5 highest grossing Mandala Theater plays. According to the Acting President of Natak Ghar, Buddhi Tamang, this play depicting the environment of the conflict period has earned 2.2 million gross.
According to him, 4000 viewers watched the play in 27 shows. From the premiere to the end of the play, which lasted for almost a month, there was a lot of participation from the audience.
Vijay Baral’s craze seen in the all-time blockbuster ‘Poorna Bahadur Ko Sarangi’ is also expected to be seen in the drama ‘Hari Hazurba’.
According to Acting Chairman Tamang, ‘Khuwalung: Stone Road’ is one of the highest grossing dramas in Mandala in recent times, which had a business of more than 2.7 million. ‘Masinya’ directed by Buddhi and another drama ‘Chor Choro Swar’ also earned well. ‘Degree Maila’ and ‘Meetjeo’ are also among the high-grossing dramas.
After the increase in viewership, drama houses have been increasing the number of shows. ‘Recently, the drama craze has increased’ says Tamang, ‘The number of daily visitors has increased. The attraction of drama among the youth has also increased.
This is the fourth play out of 14 plays announced by Mandla this year. As the fifth play, the play directed by Pashupati Rai is in the lineup. Besides, the international drama festival is also starting in Mandla from Chait 7th.
