Kathmandu. The American city of Los-Angeles, which is considered to be the ‘home of Hollywood’, is now in the grip of a devastating fire. The fire has not been brought under control. As of Monday morning, 25 people have died, more than 10,000 structures have been burned, and millions have been displaced.

In this case, some actors of Nepali films are in the city of Los Angeles. Some are struggling in Hollywood and some are in the artist business. Some of them are updating the situation through social networks.

Emmy Award winning Nepali actor Jaswantdev Shrestha, who has been busy in Hollywood for a long time, shared a touching picture on Monday morning and wrote that ‘dreams cannot burn’.

Sharing the Oscar trophy found inside the house destroyed by fire, Jaswant writes, ‘Dreams cannot burn. It was heartbreaking to see the scene of Askar being consumed in the fire. The flames may have physically burned the trophy. However, it can never extinguish the legacy, passion and artistry. Leaders of the Oscars, your work has inspired countless lives and its influence will always shine brighter than fire. Love and strength to all affected by this tragedy.
