Kathmandu. The film ‘Mahabhoj’ performed Muhurat Puja on Tuesday. At the Ganesh temple in Kamaladi, the ‘cast and crew’ worshiped the camera and script book and gave formal information about the film.
The shooting of the multi-starrer film will continue for 45 days from Monday around Pokhara. The team is scheduled to go there on Wednesday for filming.
Dayahang Rai, Khagendra Lamichhane, Aryan Sigdel, Anjana Baraili, Gaumaya Gurung, Malika Mahat, Vasundhara Bhusal, Mohan Niroula, Buddhi Tamang, Kamalmani Nepal, Pushkar Gurung, Vinod Neupane, Abha Aryal, Virendra Kushwaha participated in the Muhurta Puja.
Director Raut said that the film is based on the story of a rebel campaign against playing with the lives and trust of common people.
The story of Mahabhoj is about betrayal and corruption in the society. Through this film, I will try to show the importance of citizen’s responsibility, justice, transparency and social awareness’ said Raut.
The producer of the film, which will be produced under the banner of Clock Work Creation and Picture Frame, is Himal Kadaria of ‘Nango Village’, ‘Dukhi Atma’ fame. The executive producers are Kiran Nepali and Sudip Dhakal. The film is written by Vikas Subedi.
