Pre-climax shooting of ‘Balidan’ amid crowd of thousands (Photos)

Kathmandu. The pre-climax scene of the much-awaited action film ‘Balidan’ was shot on Tuesday with a crowd of more than 12,000. A crowd of thousands gathered at Simsar Kalichaur in Sundararaicha municipality of Morang.

Director Santosh Sen said that a crowd of 12,000 gathered for an important scene in the film. The context of the story was – Inauguration of the magnificent statue of Kali Mata of Rudra Avatar in the unity meeting called by the hero after eliminating the crooked demons of the imaginary kingdom of Bhilamgarh.

Police were deployed from Biratnagar under the leadership of DSP Ved Bahadur Joshi to control the crowd. Police were also assisted by city police and local club volunteers. The shooting started in the morning and continued till late in the evening.

Director Sen said, ‘Scenes that can’t be bought were shot.’ Actor Prem Puri also said that the film was shot with a crowd of thousands.

Actors Sameer Bhatt, Richa Sharma, Arpan Thapa, Prem Puri, Kameshwar Chaurasia and others participated in the filming. There is 3 percent remaining shooting that can be filmed. A team of South Indian action actors is reaching there for the shooting of a scene on Thursday.

Director Sen said that the fight scene of one and a half villains will be shot with Sameer Bhatt. “Once the shooting is over, we will come to Kathmandu and prepare for the performance date,” Sen said.
