Kathmandu. Producer Rohit Adhikari has announced to make a new film ‘Maitighar’. Releasing the logo of the film on Monday, he announced that this social drama film will be screened in the coming Dashain.
Milan Tamang’s directorial debut, the screenplay of ‘Prem Geet 2’ is written by Ram Sharan Pathak. After completing the formal study of the film, director Tamang started directing.
The producer official gave the information about casting the current star in the film. The cast will be decided in a few weeks and the shooting will start from February or March. It is said that the film will present the compulsion of a daughter to leave her matrimonial home after marriage and its dimensions.
‘Since it is a contemporary story, we are going to bring it on Dashain’, said the producer officer, ‘since it is female dominated, it will depict social context and feelings.’ He said that the name ‘Maitighar’ was given because it suited the script of this multi-starrer film.
Rohit Adhikari Films has already produced Ghazlu, Chha Maya Chhapakkai and Parki Parki. It is seen that there will be a rush of films in the coming Dashain. Along with Maitighar, Deepak Raj Giri, 12 village team, Sushil Pokharel, Ashok Sharma, Bhuvan KC and other films are also rumored to be coming.
