Nazir Hussain’s play ‘Hari Hazurba’ will be staged from 4th January

Kathmandu. The staging date of the drama ‘Hari Hazurba’ directed by Nazir Hussain has been fixed. Mandla Theater released the poster and said that the play will be staged from 4th to 28th of December.

The play written, conceived and directed by Hussain is about to be staged. It will feature Hussain himself along with Vijay Baral, Reulsang, Sabina Thapa, Rohit Shah, Sujana Pandey, Manish Pandey and Risu Raut.

Producers are Dayahang Rai and Buddhi Tamang. The drama will present the impact of the conflict and the depth of human relations. Hula’s character Hari and the poignant story of a grandfather waiting for his missing granddaughter in an armed conflict will be presented in the play.

Drama is influenced by stories and written poetry. This will be Nazir’s third play. Earlier he has directed ‘Sunlake’ and ‘Kurup Haas’. Nazir will also make a comeback in the drama after seven years.

Nazir says that ‘Hari Hazurba’ is a story of characters of two generations. A play is about to be made on the story of a daughter who is waiting for her grandfather. Life philosophy is also mixed in it. It says how hard the wait is,’ Nazir said, ‘It also represents a time of a bit of conflict.’

This play is one of the 14 plays announced by Mandla this year. ‘Andhveg’ was the first play directed by Praveen Khatiwada. Second was Anil Subba’s ‘Mekhidand’. As the third play, directed by Kedar Shrestha, ‘Dukdhuki 72 MHz’ was staged recently. After this, preparations are being made to stage the play directed by Anup Baral, Pashupati Rai, Kiran Chamling.

According to Mandla, ‘Hari Hazurba’ will be staged every day except Monday from Thursday to December 28 (Sunday).
