CID is one of the most loved and longest running shows on Indian TV. Its first season started in 1998. The show was closed in 2018 after airing 1,547 episodes. Season 2 is currently being prepared. Shivaji Satam is back with his team as ACP Pradyumna. Inspectors are back as Abhijeet (Aditya Srivastava) and Daya (Dayanand Shetty). CID Season 2 will air on Sony TV and Sony Live app every Saturday and Sunday at 10 PM from December 21.
